Happy Cinco de Mayo! I love that Cinco de Mayo falls on Tequila/Taco Tuesday this year. To help you celebrate, I am sharing how to make easy, gluten-free margaritas. Some margarita mixes are not gluten-free, which can make it tricky to master margaritas at home. But I promise you, gluten-free margs are easier than you think. These margarita recipes are so easy, you'll feel like a bartender by the end of the evening. I am sharing my quarantine-perfected recipes for jalapeño margaritas and cucumber margaritas (plus a bonus recipe at the bottom of this post).

Gluten-Free Jalapeño Margaritas
These can be as mild or as spicy as you want them to be. For more of a kick, muddle your raw jalapeño slices beforehand. For less spice, only add one or two slices and do not muddle them. Make sure to wash your hands and avoid touching your eyes after touching these peppers! I learned that one the hard way...

Gluten-Free Cucumber Margaritas
This might be the most refreshing summer beverage I have ever had. Some of y'all already saw this recipe on my Instagram story and sent me photos of your own cucumber margaritas. Clearly, it is a fan favorite!

Bonus Recipe: Strawberry Margaritas
I did not get to take a pretty picture of this before I drank it, but that won't stop me from sharing the recipe. To make your own gluten-free strawberry margaritas:
Fill glass 1/2 full with limeade
Add 1 shot of tequila
Top with 2-3 sliced strawberries
Fill the rest of the glass with ice
Pour entire drink into a cocktail shaker and get shaking!
Pour the drink back into your cup. The strawberries will be muddled and mixed from the cocktail shaker
The key to making gluten-free margaritas is to use fresh ingredients rather than margarita mixes. I also use blue agave tequila, which is free of any wheat, barley, and rye. If you want the ease of a margarita mix, I linked one here that is gluten-free and available at most grocery stores and liquor stores.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
