Kale Salad & Kitchen Essentials
This kale salad and the different variations that I am about to share is my lunch at least three times a week. A lot of y'all have asked for this recipe after seeing it on Instagram so many times! Today's blog post gives you all the details on this recipe. You will also learn my trick for making this salad so tasty every time, while seeing some of my other "holy grail" products for the kitchen. So, who's hungry?!

Kale Salad Recipe
On my weekly grocery run, I tend to buy any/all of the following ingredients for this salad:
kale
poppyseed dressing
walnuts (or sliced almonds)
goat cheese
blueberries
strawberries
grapes
dried cranberries
pre-cooked red beets
tomato
avocado
Whenever I make this kale salad, I add a combination of these ingredients and, honestly, it is a little different every time. For replicating purposes, here are some photos of the recipe variations I frequently create.

Tomatoes, Avocado, and Goat Cheese (optional: grilled chicken or steamed quinoa)
The Final Product
Like I said, this salad looks a little bit different each time I make it, but this Brianna's Poppy Seed Dressing is always the final step. Below, you can see the finished kale salad (aka my lunch two day ago).

My Trick for Perfect Kale Every Time
I was "influenced by the influencers" for this one. The trick that I learned from Courtney Shields is this: rather than cutting your kale on a cutting board, rinse the leaves and stick them in the blender! Pulse the blender until the kale is in small enough pieces for your liking and then pour it directly into your bowl or onto your plate. Before doing this, I did not enjoy eating kale but pulsing it in the blender makes it less tough and more enjoyable to eat.

Kitchen Essentials from Amazon
I use my full-size Ninja blender or mini blender every time I make this salad, which means roughly every other day. This mini blender leads me into the final part of this blog post: kitchen essentials! This mini blender and these other items make cooking and eating at home so much easier and most importantly, more enjoyable.
